The Philford reputation is built on the exceptional quality of our engineering service, which is, reflected in our BS EN ISO 9001:2015 certification. We have our own fully equipped 18,000 sq/ft separate machining & fitting workshop with 10 tonne lifting capacity; this also includes a gearbox testing area.
As manufacturers of materials handling and mining equipment we have a wealth of experience covering mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. We repair and overhaul a large range of transmission components and assemblies covering gearboxes, conveyor drives and sprocket assemblies from many different applications and industries. We offer an onsite service to assess our customer’s requirements, following on from this we can dismantle and remove the equipment from site and repair at our workshops. This would then be delivered back to site and if required re-installed by our own site team. All of our engineers are apprentice trained and also from part of our onsite installation team.
