Philfords fabrication team has a wealth of experience in the fabrication of structural steelwork and a wide variety of plate work from S275, S355 and XAR/ABRO type materials. We have our own fully equipped 18,000-sq/ft Steel Fabrication workshops with 20 tonne lifting capacity.
Predominantly our core fabrication works covers the manufacture of materials handling and conveying equipment, but we also carry out general fabrication works of various sizes and volumes up to our lifting capacity. All our fabricators / welders are certified to BS EN ISO 15614-1:2008 and BS EN 287-1:2004 standards and laso form part of our onsite teams. We have recently been awarded the following certification " EC Certificate of Factory Production Control: 0513-CPR-12299-001/01 " and " Welding Certificate: 0513-CPR-12299-001/01-WC". This demonstrates that we are now capable of CE marking structural steelwork up to and including execution class 2. There is in addition to our long-standing BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certification. We offer an internal painting service for finishing steelwork or alternatively can manage a galvanized or special paint finish to meet the customer’s requirements.
