Philford celebrates 30 years in business

From humble beginnings supplying conveyor machines to the mining industry out of an old chapel building, Philford has grown to become one of the UK’s leading specialist engineering companies.

And after 30 years in business the whole team is celebrating this special anniversary. “It’s been a long journey to get where we are today and we’re delighted to have been supporting British industry since 1979,” said Philford Production and Sales Manager Stephen Horsfield. “We’re very proud of our history but our success comes from adapting and looking to the future.

A true British success story, Philford has developed and grown in a declining market, designing, manufacturing, installing and repairing highly complex engineering equipment with diverse applications for many of the UK’s leading industrial companies.
