Philford has always been a proud family company and with its new younger management team likes to help where it can.

In July this year it helped Tower Colliery with their annual charity day which haelped raise in excess of £6000 for Guide Dogs For The Blind, Riding For Disabled, McMillan Nurses & Park Lane Special School. The 2009 Event will be here soon.

This Year Philford Started its Sponsorship of Warmsworth CC which helped them have a guest overseas player from Australia. They also helped in the purchase of new equipment to help with junior training sessions and coaching which they see as a major part of any sports club. Some employees play for the club & the management enjoyed a sunny sponsors day in July.

Philfords also sponsor The Lord Conyers Junior Football Team in Conisbrough & helped them purchase their kit for this Season.

Managing Director Michael Phillips says "I like all types of sport both playing & watching and being a parent myself see the value in helping providing training facilities and kit for the next generation of sportsmen & women. You never know where the next Wayne Rooney or Freddie Flintoff will come from."
