Case Studies: Conveyor Transfer Point

A multi transfer point was designed, manufactured and installed at Dowlow Quarry, comprising of multi feed conveyors in conjunction with selectable chutes. This installation allowed continual running of incoming feeder belts with the facility to direct the incoming material to the production process or to the stocking ground with no stoppage of conveyors. Stop/start of all the associated conveyors was greatly reduced and the distribution of material was now controlled more efficiently.
